Bonita is in her second year as our president. She was the first female voted in as president and has been so great we voted her in for a second term. She has created several bikes including the Disco Bike and the Pink Flamingo, both with a little help from other members as well. She is also a nurse and married to another banana, Chris.
Mike was our president for two whole years and has just begun a new term as our treasurer. He is the creator and owner of the Margaritaville bike. He is also one of the creators of the Dragon bike. He is an artist in his own rite too.
Chris was our first president. He is the owner of the Hotdog bike. He owns the Bike Museum and the studio where we do all of our work and store many of our bikes. He creates and maintains most of our bicycles (the bikes themselves). He is definintely our main bike man, as he knows how to fix any bike whether it needs major or minor repairs.

Michelle (yes there are two!) has just changed positions in the group from treasurer to vice president. She has a body painting bike and a tall blue bird bike. She is a master body painter and an artist and also enjoys travel. She also likes to go bowling when she's not busy painting something. (like a shirt, a canvas, or a body)
Rain is the creator and keeper of our web site (that means me!). I am an artist and mother of three. I have a bead addiction in addition to my website designing. If you have questions or comments concerning our site or if you like what you see and think you might like a site of your own, you can email me at caritasrainbow@yahoo.com.
Jay is the proud owner of the Frog Prince bike, created with help from Uriel and is known to always know where the best parties, bands, and events are. He always carries extra fun vintage clothing in case someone needs a fun change, and finds the greatest garage sale finds ever! Back

Jon, with help from Chris, created the Double Decker Giraffe bike that he alone rode fearlessly. He also created Beauregarde the Lion bike along with Rain and Chris, and the Dinosaur bike along with Karen, not to mention the Bull bike recreated from a pig along with several other members. His latest creation is the new Fish bike. Aside from the BBB he is known around Soulard for the music he plays.
Kelly was our president of vice for one whole term. When she's not being a banana she's a teacher. She rides different bikes for different parades and always looks glamourous.
Yvonne owns the Dragonfly bike, created with help from Uriel. She is an artist, mother, therapist, and beach bum. Her bike has a welded steel understructure, stuffed with foam and covered in vinyl. The wings are polycarbonate, similar to plexiglass, but more flexible. It is also covered with lovely gems. She is known to us as Lady Dragonfly and is an artist in her own rite.

Michelle is the owner of the Tiki Bar bike. Her 6ft. bar travels complete with tiki torches, a lighted umbrella, her parrot named Clarence, and a myriad of other accouterments. She was our secretary for several years and put in tons of time and effort that was greatly appreciated.

Thumper is one of our newest members. He's always fun to have around, and great at fixing and creating things.
We are so lucky to have our very newest member, Paul! He's a master at paper mache and puppets and I know we all have so much to learn from him.
Joel is our resident cab driver. He drives our music bike which changes it's decor according to the theme or event we are in. It's been a ship, for the annual Popeye Parade, and even a gingerbread house for a Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Uriel is our Big Banana. He is the founder of the Banana Bike Brigade. He has written our History and has created many, many of our bikes. He is an artist first and foremost and teaches us how to create our visions. He has major artworks displayed around St. Louis and is also the proud writer of the BananaFesto.
Carolyn is a suburban mom with a wild streak ! She enjoys the freedom of expression that the BBB endorses and admits that it's why she adores hanging out with us. She enjoys riding bikes, but also finds being a ' walker ' just as satisfying. It's easier to wave and not have to look where you're going.......
